| Bio: | here: no longer a teenager, though still small (never fear). seldom grounded. sometimes cellist, more often odd, student of ancient greek, linguistics, and several other subjects that only sometimes catch the interest. in too many - and yet not enough - chamber music groups, if such a state exists. quiet, most of the time; enabler, as far as livejournal is concerned. dabbles in writing on the side. moderately shy, and positively unable to approach boys. mostly a serious student. also, abuser of the english language: can the tongue survive without complete sentences and capitalization? we shall see.
this space: once the lesser of two, now the greater. struggling to hold on to the german i once knew. the rest should come through elsewhere. very little of this is friends-only; for now, i blame my inner exhibitionist, but that may change. also: prussian blue, still my favorite color: now sadly also confusable with a white supremacist band-type thing.
ich vertraue mein deutsch immer noch nicht genug, richtige einträge auf deutsch zu schreiben. fürs alltagsleben genügt es aber schon, für die indogermanistik auch schon (was gerade jetzt am wichtigsten ist). ich fürchte mich, dass ich auf deutsch nicht so interessant wie ich auf englisch bin: ist aber quatsch. wer beide sprachen beherrscht, weißt eigentlich, dass ich auf beiden sprachen ziemlich langweilig bin. aber schön, dass du erstmal hier bist. |
